Shawn Melamed, Founder, CEO
As CEO, Shawn is in charge of the strategic vision, overall management and business leadership of Correlix.Shawn is the visionary behind Correlix's flagship products, leveraging many years of experience in working on enterprise distributed transaction performance problems by monitoring raw network traffic, Shawn combined it with extensive research in unrelated bioinformatics algorithms to create the unique message correlation technology underlying the Correlix Latency Intelligence solutions.
Before founding Correlix in 2005, Shawn was partner and CTO of Strauss Strategy, where he managed enterprise technology consulting practice for international corporations in the Banking, Equity Trading, Insurance and Retail sectors as well as with leading independent software vendors (ISV's). Prior to Strauss Strategy, Shawn held senior technical positions at Navicula, PrimeNet, and IDF.
Shawn graduated Cum Laude with a BSc in Computer Science and Biology from Tel Aviv University.
Yuval Pemper, Vice President of Research and Development
As Vice President of Research and Development, Yuval leads Correlix's development team from concept to the implementation of its core enterprise systems offerings. He has a proven track record of delivering high quality products that meet the market's needs and has previously held the position of VP Research & Development at Radware, Alvarion and Onset Technology.
Prior to his tenure at Radware, Mr. Pemper has worked at various startups and at Comverse Network Systems. He served as a Research and Development Officer in the Israeli Navy for 5 years from 1991 to 1996. He is a graduate of the Israeli military's prestigious Talpiot program. Mr. Pemper holds a B.Sc. cum laude in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and a M.Sc. cum laude in Electrical Engineering, Physical Electronics from Tel Aviv University.
Richard Wilkins, Vice President of Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Rich is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the global sales efforts as well as the facilitation of strategic partnerships.
Rich brings to Correlix a wealth of executive leadership and experience in electronic trading. As one of the first employees, Rich was Vice President of Sales for the Island ECN. Island grew from a start-up into the largest market for trading Nasdaq-listed stocks in the U.S., until being acquired by Instinet. After the merger, Rich was named Head of Sales for the combined market named INET ATS, which later sold to NASDAQ.
Rich has also served in senior roles at several firms including the American Stock Exchange, Standard & Poor’s, and Merrill Lynch. Rich has also helped start up other venues such as the ISE Stock Exchange, Ballista Securities, and a technology spinoff of a prominent hedge fund.
Rich graduated with a B.B.A. in Marketing from Iona College.
Dan Geffen, CFO
As CFO, Dan is responsible for all financial aspects of the company. Before joining Correlix, Dan has worked as Director of Finance in Top Image Systems, a public global software company. Prior to that, Dan has worked for several years as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Israel in the high-tech and industrial practice groups and at KPMG Israel.
Dan is certified licensed public accountant (Isr.) and holds an M.B.A. from the Bar Ilan University.
