Shawn Melamed, CEO and Founder
Shawn brings to Correlix years of business and technology management experience having led numerous business strategy and product development initiatives. Shawn is recognized as an expert in enterprise architecture and application development. As Partner and CTO of Strauss Strategy, Shawn managed enterprise technology solutions for international corporations in the Banking, Equity Trading, Insurance and Retail sectors as well as, with leading independent software vendors (ISV's). Additionally, Shawn has performed due diligence services for international venture capital funds and for major mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to Strauss, Shawn held several leading senior management positions at Navicula, PrimeNET and within the Israeli Defense Forces – Intelligence Corps. Shawn has significant international experience working with complex enterprise solutions in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.
Shawn graduated Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University with a Bsc in Computer Science and Biology as part an exclusive Bioinformatics program where Shawn was placed on Dean’s list.
Boaz Bash, VP R&D, General Manager, Israel
Boaz brings to Correlix many years of technology research & development management experience. Most recently, Boaz led the software development of numerous financial transaction products for the global equity trading company, Investment Technology Group (ITG). Prior to ITG, Boaz was V.P. R&D for Friendly Technologies, a software development company specializing in expert systems where he lead platform development from prototype to production in several global Internet Service Providers.Boaz started his professional career at Amdocs, a Global Customer Experience company focusing on the telecommunications industry where he led advanced CRM technology projects that focused on client lifecycle management solutions for global cellular carriers.
Boaz graduated Cum Laude from the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology with a Bsc in Computer Engineering, and received his MBA from the Technion'sFaculty of Industrial Engineering & Management.
Robert Emig, Director of Sales, Financial Services
Robert joins Correlix with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Robert brings strong software and technology experience after 10 years with IBM where he managed software solutions teams covering large international banks in the capital markets. Additionally, Robert brings deep trading industry knowledge from working at Sempra Energy Trading prior to joining IBM.
Robert graduated top of his MBA class from Pace University and received an Advanced Science degree from Oneonta State University.
Dr. Einat Or, Chief Scientist
Dr. Or brings to Correlix a specialized academic and algorithmic industry background in statistics and models in queuing theory, stochastic processes, approximation algorithms for NP hard problems on graphs and clustering models. Prior to Correlix, Dr. Or accumulated diverse experience taking leader algorithmic roles both in bioinformatics companies in Glycodata LTD, Compugen (CGEN), as well as in communications at Flash Networks.
Dr. Or received her PhD and Masters from the Department of Statistics and Operation Research, of the School of Mathematics, Tel Aviv University, And her Bachelors of engineering from Tel Aviv University school of engineering.
Galit David Vatikay, Director of Finance and Operations
Galit, a CPA, joined Correlix in October 2007. Prior to joining the company, Galit worked as a controller for 5 years in e-SIM Ltd, a software company specializing in solutions for mobile handset platform. Her responsibilities included financial reporting to the SEC, corporation accounting and tax preparation, budget and forecasting, Prior to e-SIM ,Galit worked at Ernst & Young's Tel Aviv office.
Galit holds a Master degree from Bar-Ilan University- Laws for Accountants and a Bachelor degree of Business and Accounting from the College of Management.
